“Teen Wolf” star Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Boyce Fox in “Fifty Shades Darker,” the sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey,” TheWrap has exclusively learned. James Foley is directing the “Fifty Shades” sequels for Universal Pictures. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing with Marcus Viscidi and author E.L. James, whose husband, Niall Leonard, adapted both books.
The sequels find Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprising their respective roles as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. The character of Boyce Fox is referenced in the “Fifty Shades” books, though he does not technically make an appearance in the narrative. The character will be fleshed out in the “Fifty Shades Darker” movie, as Boyce Fox is the first author who Ana signs as an editor at publishing company SIP.
“Fifty Shades Darker” whips into theaters on Feb. 10, 2017, while “Fifty Shades Freed” arrives on Feb. 9, 2018. The sequels are currently being shot back-to-back in Vancouver. [Source]
